Harris County Fresh Water Supply District No. 58 (the “District”) is moving forward with preliminary engineering and surveying efforts associated with future a waterline replacement and improvement project to address the District’s aging water distribution infrastructure.
IDS Engineering Group on behalf of the District will be performing field surveys of the public rights-of-way and adjoining properties throughout the District. The purpose of the field survey is to document existing site conditions, including the ground elevations, property boundaries, surface features, and the locations of underground and overhead utilities.
As part of this effort, an 811 utility locate has been requested and utility companies may mark locations of underground lines with temporary paint and flags. Please do not remove, move, or tamper with any flags or paint markings.
